Welcome to the Fall 2022 Career Training Workshop Series!

Are you looking for a job but feel you’re getting nowhere? Would you like to increase your knowledge about the job market and what employers are looking for? Do you need some tips on how to broaden your network and how to conduct yourself in an interview? And would you like to meet others in the same situation to expand your social network? Then this is for you!

Studieförbundet Vuxenskolan and Uppsala International Hub are co-organising this program which will give you hands-on tools on how to succeed in finding a job in Sweden. The job program is based on ten informative sessions on how to optimise your job search. Each session addresses a different theme, e.g. Swedish work culture, CV writing and interview tips, and even starting your own business, just to name a few.

You will become part of a cohort of other internationals who would like to get a foot into the Swedish job market. The main goal is to get guidance, train your skills, help each other out and make new contacts. You will get practical tips and tailor-made advice for your job search customised to the challenges in your process.

As space is limited, we ask that you fill out the short application by following the link found at the bottom of this page before 21 October 2022. Applicants will be notified about acceptance into the program by Friday 28 October.
